Action is situated in west London.It is 6,4 miles west of Charing Cross.Once an ancient village,now Action has changed into a modern place.Action lies in the London Borough of Ealing.some of its East part lies within the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and a small part in Hounslow.

In the 20th Century Action was a major industrial centre.Nowadays it is principally residential,though it still remains some light industry.It is a place of the best real estates in West London.

Action has a very cosmopolitan society.Here you can find Australian,South African as well as many Polish emigrants.Action is popular for its High Street ,where there is a huge varietyof pubs and restaurants.Some of the most popular are The Puzzle,The Red Lion and Pineapple,Tandori Palace.There are also Lebanese,Chinese,Portugese,Korean,Spanish bars and restaurants.It is a nice place for Recreation.A fine examples of Victorian municipal buildings are the Swimming baths,Town Hall,Library.An interesting place for shopping is a newly refurbished Mount-the Farmers Market.Another interesting place is Action Park with its children's play area,tennis courts and art block.

Action has a well-developed transport system-several railway stations,tube stations can be found.Shepherd Bush,Harlesden,Prk Royal,Ealing,Chiswick are at close distance.
